I think this was director Jim Haggerty's best written film, not the goriest but a great story that had my attention all the way. I don't want to spoil much of the story but if your a fan of Films Like last house & I spit on your grave then you'll dig this flick I recommend it!

1. Your newest DVD release is an anthology & a really good one i may add, can you tell us what inspired you to do a horror anthology and any other anthologies that influenced you? Thanks so much! III SLICES OF LIFE has really had an incredible response for such an extremely low budget movie. We worked very hard on it with extremely limited resources, so I am so happy that it has found an audience. The inspiration to do a feature length anthology was two-fold. The first reason is that I love short form stories and early anthology films like Trilogy of Terror, Creepshow, The House That Dripped Blood, Night Gallery, Tales from the Crypt, Asylum, Black Sabbath and many others. The second reason was economical; we had a tiny budget to work with and needed generate budget revenue over a longer period than the average feature. With this mind, having 3 separate stories with a wrap-around enabled us to do one segment and then stop, raise money, re-group and then shoot the next segment. Working this way is pretty hard, but it also has benefits when you are relying so heavily on the goodwill of performers, crew, locations etc.

2. What director in the Horror genre has the most influence on you as a filmmaker? That is a tough question because I love so many different directors for so many different reasons. But some of my favorites (in no particular order) are: David Cronenberg, Frank Henenlotter, Mario Bava, Dario Argento, Wes Craven, Clive Barker, Tobe Hooper, John Carpenter, George Romero, Brian Di Palma, Lucio Fulci, Guillermo del Toro,

3. What advice can you give struggling filmmakers out there seeking distribution or are just trying to make a movie? First I would say don’t give up no matter how many obstacles you run into, and don’t be discouraged by not having access to the best equipment, a large crew or lots of money- if you work really hard and have a fun story then the movie will find its audience. In regard to distribution I would recommend sending trailers & press releases as well as watermarked screeners to every review site, social network, blog, vlog, etc. Whether the response is good or bad, you want the name out there and to have some name recognition. Harvest followers and impressions through facebook and twitter, distributors absolutely look at this when deciding on the viability of your project in markets. You can never pre-market too much. Also, don’t go with just one distributor to cover all your content delivery with a single profit sharing split. There are so many different media delivery options today from VOD, DVD, PPV, IPV etc.- if a distributor is primarily known as a DVD distributor (they will just become a sub aggregator to the other services and will deplete your cut of the profits). So do your research and license out your film À la carte to each service that handles the type of content delivery you want to do, this gets a little complicated- but you should put as much effort into your marketing and licensing strategy as you do the film.

4. What is your take on Distribution Do you prefer self distribution or being distributed through a distributor can you explain some of the ups & downs? I have not self-distributed yet, so it is hard for me to make a comparison here. I do believe that a person can do really well self-distributing if they treat it like a job and really focuses on getting the word out. For me the idea of self distribution becomes more viable once you have a couple pictures under belt and minimal name value for your product. The reality is that some distro channels will not open up to a self distributor (like Showtime, TMC, Chiller etc.) and depending on what your marketing strategy is, you might plan to access those channels and would need help from a distributor or film rep.

5. Anything you want to say to the fans out there? From one horror fan to all the other fans, thanks so much for supporting our little film and keep an eye out for news on our next feature that is currently in production and a much different beast than III SLICES OF LIFE.

But not Crowbar this is an excellent slasher film With the exact feel of the classic 80s slashers with the gore & punch of todays. I loved this film & i don't say that lightly i am a huge slasher critic.

This prompts Adam to start killing people in similar ways to films he watches, making sure to put his own little spin on it. I thought this was a great film From James Cullen Bressack & it had a lot of good dialouge that never got boring a sign of a great screenplay. The kills were gory & reminded me of Gore gore girls Something you'd see from H.G. Lewis I really look fwd to seeing more from this very talented director, i highly recommend this movie to any horror fan this is a very well paced Slasher that is a must for any collection. The new feature film Thirty Proof Coil directed By Will Schmeckpeeper is one of the most original films i have seen this yr. Alice coopers daughter Calico has had several bit parts in genre films over the years like, Scarlet Fry's Junkfood Horrorfest (Coming to DVD Oct 18th), Suck & a few other Calico has finally landed herself a lead role & is paving the way for Scream Queen Stardom.

The story follows Calico as she begins a camping trip to go off & study nature, she is quickly abducted and held prisoner in a barn. The interesting thing is the kidnapper is mostly concerned with feeding her, and its not because he wants to do anything to her but keep her alive. After a few attempts at freedom Calico manages to kill her captor. What follows is a series on halluciantions and conversations with her captor , mother & more creepy characters. But whats in the Basement, what is the hairy creature and was calico his meal? Find Out & get this film when its relased on DVD although there are no plans for that yet. Thirty proof will doing a festival run this summer catch it if you can.!

The first 5 minutes of this film are amazing and leave you feeling like your in for an awesome zombie ride, that feels similar to something Bruno Mateii would do something fun Italian, Grindhouse maybe? Not in this case but it doesn't mean that this is a bad film by any means it just means the first 5 mins was better then the rest. The filmmakers went with a Grindhouse approach which i love. This was a very fun toung & cheek zombie flick with plenty of gore, instead of being genius it was just good, if you want a good fun gory grindhouse then get this movie by all means! I look fwd to whatever these guys do next.

Another solid release from the folks over at Breaking glass pictures, Anniversary at Shallow creek reminded me a lot of The Strangers but honestly i thought this was a better film. A group of Med students decide to take a weekend and go to one of their friends uncles cabin in the woods. A sniper appears and begins a game of survival until they are all dead and the one girl left, has to choose between her boyfriend and her brother, who will die fast & who will die slow? Will she survive, & who is the sniper? this is an edge of your seat horror thriller . I have no complaints here I really liked this movie, great acting, great gore its all here folks, i definitley recommend this.

Dawning follows a brother & sister as they go to visit their father and step mother at a cabin in the woods. Slowly after a bit of small talk tension creeps in the family dog is mortally wounded and a strange man shows up hell bent with a rifle on protecting himself from evil. Thats right Evil and it shows up in the film, which provides us a mind bending experience, great storytelling here . I highly recommend this one. It's one of the better horror films of the year so far.

It's whenever we see a chick on the hunt for her wrong-doers and she has a gun then i'm sold. In Death Angel December a hot Chick Named December after watching her parents get raped & murdered has finally grown up and is seeking vengeance on her families killers, and let me tell you she comes up with some pretty creative ways to deal with these folks, Columbian neck tie anyone ...if you dont know what that is watch this film its awesome. If you like hot chicks that kick ass then i definetly recommend this film. I think its just as good as the legendary Ms. 45 or any of the other Chick revenge flicks out there.

This is a really cool action packed zombie flick, a Mob boss needs a witness that can put him away forever to be gone ( dead) get it. The Boss man calls on one of his hit men to poison the mans drinking supply, instead of just shooting him this in order to keep a low profile. The man drinks the water and so do a lot of other people and they all become zombies, but they are no ordinary zombies they are fast and they have guns. This my friends leads to an action packed bloody gut wrenching gore fest, I got to hand it to Chemical Burn entertainment they have really been pumping out some great stuff lately.

The Drive in Horror show is yet another awesome Horror Anthology from the folks over at Midnight Releasing/Brain Damage fims, Recently they have turned out some real gems such as this film, Slices of Life, Nightmare alley & Dead teenagers to name a few. Drive in Horror show features a great wrap around idea which takes place in a Dead Drive in. We are treated to a series of horror shorts hosted by a zombie projectionist and his pals. There is a zombie girl that serves blooderd popcorn in the snack bar & a couple of very humorous and very dead patrons in the mix as well. The film features several short stories 5 to be exact : THE PIG about a woman who seeks revenge after a date rape. THE CLOSET about a young boy with a monster in his closet that will eat all his problems away. THE MEATMAN a legend about a serial killer that just may turn out to be the guy next door? There is also two more stories called THE WATCHER & FALLING APART as well in which i will save as a surprise and not say anything else. The look and feel of this anthology is unique and stands alone. Its a mixture of Creepshow Meets Tales from the darkside. The wrap around had a really great look and feel to it ... Id love to see more of these , hopefully there will be a sequel? If you like horror anthologies pick this one up, theres something for every one here.

As i watched Highway 91 about 1 hr into it , i found myself really enjoying this film and thinking that it was as good if not better the the walking dead, Why do i say that because the way this film played out following a group of people trying to survive the zombie apocalypse and everything they go through it was very similar the way I felt when watching the Walking dead on amc. Even though this is a low budget indie film Sonny Fernandez has a knack about him that makes these films great, One is the awesome gore and f/x and 2 is the writing is really good. IF your a zombie fan I would definitely recommend that you add this to your collection. Highway 91 is an epic zombie tale with tons of twists and turns you will be on the edge of your seat the whole time. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry.

Wow EVIDENCE OF A HAUNTING scared the crap out of me. While watching this film I can honestly say I was consumed with Fear & I don't usually get scared anymore since i've literally seen every horror movie there is almost. Im usually not a big fan of these types of films, Its rare that i see a film that is based on a paranormal investigation that is either any good or believable. I took a chance and popped Evidence of a Haunting into my Dvd player and I was pleasantly surprised. It was like Paranormal activity meets the exorcist, i mean how much better can you get. The movie starts off with a small team of ghost hunters/paranormal activity investigators who go on several jobs they are given by people who are having issues with demons, ghosts and the unexplainable. The film follows this team to several locations before we end up at the haunted college where the meat of the film takes place. In the opening sequence we see the team trying to remove a demon from a little girl, this reminded me of the exorcist and was just as effective in my opinion just because this film had a smaller budget doesn't mean it wasn't scary and it also means that i will not compare it to the same standards i would a film with a 100 million dollar budget. I think for what it is this film had me on the edge of my seat throughout. After taking another job or two the team decides to go investigate a college in Texas where one of the teachers from the past was having an affair with a student, afraid his wife would find out he killed the student and left her underneath the school. The man then killed himself and years later is haunting the school. The team decides to take the job and while they are there one of the team members a female becomes possessed and host to this evil ghost, what you see next is a lot of people getting killed , the film was very atmospheric and had some really good Gore filled kill scenes, you also get Some Hot girls spewing satanic spew as they fight with the dark lords to give them their soul back, some make it and some don't. I wont spoil it for you , all i can say is this was a great movie & told a great story it was fast paced and never had a dull moment, one of the best if not the best haunting film i've seen this year.

Salvage -Good Flick, Story falls a little short

To me SALVAGE is another British attempt at repeating 28 days later, The story starts off with a paper boy who while delivering a paper encounters a crazy man in the suburbs, who is suddenly shot by the military & then everyone is ordered to stay in their homes. In act II we see what a couple goes thru while shacked up together and the few crazies they have to deal with . The film never really explains why these people went crazy they are just there, if they emphasized more on that i would of given this a higher rating , not a bad movie but not a great movie.

This is one of the better documentries ive seen on a seriel killer. The filmmakers didn't miss a beat with their film Cropsey they covered all ground. Most documentries leave you hanging & seem to always miss that one thing you'd wished they asked, not this one. Cropsey tells the story of Andre Rand a real life boogyman who was linked to the dissappearance of several children on Staten Island in the 1980's. Great film on the subject I recommend.

Psycho H, was good up until about 40 mins in, Its a typical slasher formula, some people get lost in the woods and run into some crazy folks, who slaughter them basically. The gore is awesome and the killer as u can see is a jason look alike, along with his buddies they reek havoc on innocent peeps. The problem i had with this film is when it turned from fun to sadistic and they began to reem some guys butt with a bottle or something, then one of the killers straps a saw on and gets ready to fuck his victim, Eject Im done. Im soooo sick of sadistic no fun horror, so if you like watching dudes get corn-holed with saws then this movie is for you, in my opinion this kinda horror has no class and is tasteless, you would never see Vincent Price buttfucking someone with anything in any movie which is my point.

Wisconsin Project X Coming July 5th from Brain Damage Films

Wow yet another great film coming soon from Brain Damage films. I got to hand it to these guys they have been pumping out some great titles over the last couple years. Wisconsin Project X was literally made with no budget yet it is a very well done creepy & atmospheric genre piece. The film really has an old school italian zombie film feel to it mixed with The original outer limits, to make for a fierce 28 days later style zombie humanoid infection fiesta. Wisconsin Project x takes place in a small town where a scientist was working on an experiment having to do with Trans fat, he creates humanoid slaves which at first worked out pretty well. After a while something goes horribly wrong and the humanoids become violent and relentless. The Gore is mostly done with Duct tape CGI & Spray paint , but i gotta hand it to the director and the editor because they did a great job with all the above ingredients, The film was very fast paced a fun ride, i would definitly recommend this to all zombie collectors and fans out there & i'm not just saying it, this film is very good.

This is a great little Vampire flick clocking in at a little under 1 hr. The film is about a guy who is on the run from his girl who is on a killing spree, he winds up in a bar where he begins to tell his story at this time he fights off a few bar room bullies exhibiting tremendous powers. This man turns out is a vampire who wants to kill his wife. Very well written I highly recommend if you can find a way to see this do it!

1. Who were your biggest influences in the horror genre as far as directing?

George Romero with the original NOTLD - there's something about that picture. I'm of the generation that first saw it on film - screened in a church basement. It still packs a punch today. David Lynch's Eraserhead - what a film. I was stunned by the other-worldliness of the picture. I had no idea how much time elapsed. Tobe Hooper's original TCM - a grainy horror film whose poster set the tone for the event. Prior to video and the web, the posters meant so much. They were the reason we went to the cinema.

2. What made you decide to make a silent film?

The picture isn't silent. The Defiled is full of sound - I just didn't want to depend on dialogue or exposition to move it forward. A film from the POV of an infected man was an interesting conceit IMHO and I wanted to create a purely cinematic world where the viewers, regardless of where they were, could enjoy the picture.

3. What would you say to struggling filmmakers out there who may wanna give up?

Don't give up on your dreams! Start with short films based around elements you have. Save your money and shoot in digital video. Know your audience and watch the masters who have inspired you and know your limitations. The only one stopping you today - is yourself.

4. What do you think of critics?

Critics serve a purpose. Especially ones that have taken the time to get formal training in film criticism and can place a film in a socio-political, emotional and artistic landscape. Critics who have MADE films are the very best. They understand the process much much more and are less likely to attribute elements of the picture to the director - and place credit or blame where it is due. Critics without a knowledge of the marketplace or those who are just internet 'haters' serve no purpose. I ignore them.

5. Is defiled your first film?

I've made a lot of pictures as a producer/ director over the years. Check out my website at www.juliangrant.com for more info.

6. What can horror fans expect when they watch the defiled?

This picture is a tribute to the art cinema horror film - the twisted worlds of Jdorowsky, Lunch, Guy Maddin, Japanese erotic-grotesque films from the 1960's. Look deep enough and you will see my inspirations quite clearly.

7. What do you want to say to the fans?

I hope you enjoy the picture. It isn't what you think it is. I would like to think we have been able to go a little deeper than the average slasher or no-budget indy flick. The film's being well received on the film festival circuit and is scheduled for VOD and DVD release through the usual outlets.

The movie starts off with three girls in a bad ass old car from the 50's (not sure what) on their way to a party where the Dead*neks are playing. Once the three arrive they enjoy some tunes out in the old barn & while all this is going on two of the three girls have a run in with a crazed psychobilly cannibal who is looking for meat for the party's BBQ , all this is done with great style and feels just like your watching an old Herschell Gordon Lewis movie, some of the gore is right out of 2000 maniacs love it! i recommend

Slices of Life set to be released by Midnight releasing this June is an amazing indie Horror anthology and in my opinion is right up there with the likes of Trick r treat or Creepshow. Slices of Life starts of with a young girl who cant remember who she is exactly she wakes up one day with 3 books each in which represents a different day in life. The books are called Work life, Home life, & sex life all of which tell a story that makes up the anthology. Work life is about a lonely man who works at a nano technology firm who unleashed a deadly virus in the office on the computers giving new meaning to corporate zombie, next up is work life this is my personal favorite and its creepy to, rarely does anything in any indie film creep me out like this movie did. Work life tells the story of a pregnant wife married to a police officer who is investigating 4 local child dissapearances, meanwhile his wife is having ghostly visions I wont spoil it, but it all connects in the end great story. Finally sex life about a girl who has an alien parasite inside her that devours any man she has sex with like a wood chipper lots of gore here, The movie looks great this is no SOV junk and the f/x were amazing some cgi and some great make-up make for a fun ride, i recommend slices of life... Midnight releasing has really out done themselves this time and has been putting out some great stuff.

BELOW GROUND- A 24 HR FILM CHALLENGE MASTERPIECE

I officially have a new favorite William Schotten film. Below starts off with Schotten a man all alone after the death of his son in a recent Demon outbreak, that decides instead of killing himself to document the events taking place. The film was shot in Cloverfield or Diary of the dead if you will documentary style & not only that... it was shot and edited all in 24 hrs. Ok first i thought this was gonna be rough 24 hrs come on... how good could it be right ? wrong? The performances in this film are brilliant and sometimes emotional, Beautiful actress Ashley Gallo brings us into her characters dark past and tells the story of a horrible rape incident, while lead Willian Schotten also the writer, producer and director tells the story of his son and what happened to him during the outbreak, All of which were acted so well i got a little emotional myself, just watching it. Basically Once the events begin to be documented Schotten takes a few people into his home who are trying to escape and the film is all about what they go through... meanwhile a pregnant woman in their midst is slowly turning into a Demon & her boyfriend a local religous zealot is faced with having to kill her. Theres a lot of good stuff here and the f/x are awesome, a great job for 24 hrs... even if this movie took a year to make, its a great little flick and addition to any Horror collection.

Interview with Director Jason Impey

1. How long have you been making films and who are your biggest influences?
I have been making films since I was 10 years old, so for 17 years. I made a rip off of the film ‘Split Second’ when I was 10 and then an environmental documentary when I was 12 and I started college at 16 for 3 years studying film where I made a variety of music videos, documentaries, and art films. Once I finished college at 19 I started making short films, the first being Obsession. I started my first feature film (Woods of Terror) when I was 20 and completed it when I was 21. I am very inspired by independent films, especially horror, I like films that shock me, stand out and make a big impact, usually because they are controversial. I am a huge fan of the video nasties. Some of my favourite films include: Cannibal Holocaust/Irreversible/The Beyond/A Serbian Film/Anthropophagous the Beast/New York Ripper/I Spit On Your Grave (original)
I find Andreas Schnaas/Lucio Fulci/Sam Raimi/Ruggero Deodato & David Cronenberg very inspiring because of their works and careers.

2. How many films have you made that are distributed and who are they distributed with?
I have 12 features distributed, Naked Nazi is distributed by SRS Cinema, Sick Bastard/Home Made & Tortured (aka Sex Slave) are distributed by Maxim Media International and the rest are distributed by Chemical Burn Entertainment that include: Woods of Terror/Tales of Terror 1 & 2/Cut & Paste 1 & 2/Home Made 2 The Footage/Troubled & Tormented.

3. What would you say to filmmakers out there who may be struggling and want to give up for a career in retail?
I would say to stick at it, even though it can be very tough. I have had some extremely bad times making films, mad enemies, had financial problems, bad reviews that can hurt etc, but I love making films and it keeps me happy, there is no other job that would make me happy and content. As for making a living out of it, well it is nice but to survive I do my far share of corporate videos, live events, and even doing a bit of teaching filmmaking, the royalties on my features are not enough to keep me going, and I always find that I end up putting a bit of money back into making a new film. You have to stay strong and keep at it, not everyone is going to like your film but don’t let knock backs stop you from carrying on, everyone gets them, even very big and established directors can make a stinker. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your finished film complete and your vision come to life.

4. Tell us about your latest film the Turning?
The Turning tells the story of a man called Dillon who is trying to escape his past when he is thrown off track by an accidental meeting with his old flame Stacey. Soon they rekindle their love for each other, but desire gets the better of them and while they make love Stacey’s husband Michael rudely interrupts this passionate affair. Acting on instinct Dillon takes to his old ways as Michael begins to beat Stacey and therefore pays the price with his life as Dillon reacts with his gun!
This is only the start of Dillon’s journey to hell as when they go to dump the body Michael has become the un-dead and soon Stacey and Dillon find themselves in the world of the living dead, a bounty hunter and an underground Nazi organisation lead by Ilsa (Eileen Daly) who is behind everything!
Passion leads to desire, desire leads to murder, and murder leads to The Turning. The Turning is a film born out of both desire and frustration. I am an independent filmmaker who has done most things I have wanted to do in my career apart from get my big budget and make my epic movie! I have played with various sub-genres of the horror scene and messed around with styles. I wanted to make a new feature film as I always like to have a film on the go, but recently finances and various factors make it hard to get a movie off the ground, when taking on most of the job roles yourself there is so much to do, get locations, get actors, and pay for it all! My best friend and business partner Kemal Yildirim was pushing me to make a new flick as he wanted to work on another one of my crazy ventures, and he wanted to explore his acing roots again. So as time passed I came up with a rough outline for a concept for my new film. I had made zombie short films, and worked on other zombie features, and funny enough I had a reputation for zombie films as I had made a 10 minute short film ‘Zombies in the Wood’ that won best film in 2004 and had also made a super 8 controversial rape zombie flick ‘Revenge of the Dead’ that caused some outrage as we had a zombie penis made! Anyway after all this I had not actually made a zombie feature film and so I wanted to get this out of my system. The original idea for the film was about 2 people, a man and women stuck in a shack in which the women had been bitten and slowly turning, hence the title ‘The Turning’. I pitched this to Kemal as he would be playing the main lead and he loved it, we bounced ideas off each other and suddenly the film grew and grew more epic! Kemal gave me the opportunity to make the film I had in vision as he came on bored to produce the film with me, and he helped me gain the cast, locations, and fund the film. I was the only main crew, with Kemal helping when he could, but most of the time he was in front of camera, I had a make-up artist ‘Jenny Buckland’ doing all the crazy gore and she had her assistant ‘Becky Stone’, and my wife Sharon Impey helped with some stills and behind the scenes filming, the rest was down to me to undertake. In the end I decided to do a dogma 95-style shoot like I did with my earlier feature film ‘Troubled’. Rami Hilmi who plays ‘Quaid’ came to set to choreograph a massive fight showdown with himself and Kemal’s character ‘Dillon’. This fight grew and grew. Through out the shoot Kemal managed to get Eileen Daly on board to act in the final scene that was the final 2 days shoot. I decided when I was going to film dogma 95 style that I was going to approach the film in a documentary style and shoot the film in a shocumentary style, a bit like ‘Faces of Death’. This is a style I wanted to explore more of and so used this film to play with that, and I liked the adreliane and buzz you get from this, as you never quite know the exact result you will end up getting! ‘The Turning’ was fun to make but as every film it was not without its problems. The radio mic broke half way through day 7’s shoot and ended up in me having to stop the shoot why we spent hours trying to fix it, and ended up having to borrow one why our one was sent off for repair, but we managed to get the shoot back on track. I was most worried about the weather as half the film takes placed outside, but fortunately we was very lucky as the weather was perfect. I tried to shoot the film in order as the way I was shooting it, but due to the complex scenes and the fact that half the film plays as black and white flash backs through out this became more and more difficult, so we ended up shooting all over the place and that made continuity a real pain, but it appears we managed to stay on top of it. As always with my films ‘The Turning’ has become a very controversial movie that twists and turns, and is hopefully one of those films that you can watch multiple times and get something new from it each time. I have made my political statements through out the film, but I don’t want to give too much away as it is a very bizarre mix of art house and exploitation filmmaking in which not all is what it seems, and hopefully the story is not too predictable, it will keep you guessing the whole way through. It certainly is not a typical zombie film, as I have tried before I have mixed a few sub genres so it has elements of old school zombie films mixed with the Nazi sexploitation video nasties.

5. What does the future hold for Jason Impey?
I am currently re-editing my feature film Home Made under the title Home Made Redux that is a new version altogether, I have revisited all the old rushes and recreating the film I originally set out to make back in 2006. After this I have a few features planned that I want to make and will concentrate on one at a time, hopefully getting bigger budgets and better distribution.

6. what do you want to say to the fans.?
I am very appreciative of all their support and enthusiasm for my films, and it is that which encourages me and pushes me to get my next film into production. I hope you enjoy my future films and I will keep making films for the fans by a true horror fan, myself.

Cooper recently told Billboard.com that he would not have accepted theRock Hall induction if it wasn't for the entire band.

"The original band was cutting edge," he explained. "It was the original band that had all the iconic records from 'Love it to Death' on to 'Billion Dollar Babies' and 'Muscle of Love'. What I did after that was an aftermath. The original band were the guys that had to cut through that big, thick ice in order to become an entity out there. I can't see how I could just go up there as an individual."

During the February 24 press conference to announce nominees and performers for the third annual Revolver Golden Gods awards, Cooperwas asked by VH1 Radio Networks' Dave Basner when Alice's recently recorded album, "Welcome 2 My Nightmare", will be released.

"Well, we have a whole big tour of big outdoor festival shows coming up and I didn’t want to get that confused with that album," Cooper said. "So even though the album's in the can right now ready to go, [producer]Bob's [Ezrin] got to mix it and everything like that. I don't really want it to come out until probably next fall and then we'll be able to do the brand new show with it."

"Welcome 2 My Nightmare" was produced by Bob Ezrin, who also worked on the singer's "Billion Dollar Babies", "School's Out" and"Love It to Death" releases.

is a vast improvement for some of Director Jason Impey's earlier films such as Woods of Terror , or Tales from the dead both available at www.chemicalburn.org . Impeys latest Tortured begins with a really cool faux trailer for a Nazi sexploitation film very well done i may add & with nice nice titties to check out to all in the vein of Grindhouse. The movie starts off with two escaped convicts contemplating their next move when suddenly they are both attacked and eatin by a zombie, we then go into the days prior. Impey did a great job with character development here these two guys are very funny, quirky and exciting to watch , Its fun to watch these two guys just talk and go through their day, we find out that they are on the run from the law for sex crimes set in the u.k the two men decide to take a hostage to help their efforts for freedom. While on this long journey one of the two men becomes obsessed with getting this girl and having his way with her, meanwhile the other guy is more worried about leaving the country, as it turns out they get the female hostage and the one guy makes his mind up that he is going to Rape her which is why they may be on the run in the first place. Ok so now we are set for a kick ass Rape revenge film & i gotta tell you this film is no joke The rape scenes are just as intense as anything you would see in The last house on the left or I spit on your grave very very effective... Now for the spoiler and why i think this film Is Better then I spit on your grave, in the end the girl gets away and somehow becomes a zombie, we are back to the beginning of the film & the female is back for revenge in the form of the undead How fucking cool is this.

watch this film you wont regret it if your a fan of stuff like Last house, I spit on your grave & House by the edge of the park, Tortured will grab you by the throat and will not say sorry, Its I spit on your grave meets Dawn of the dead- Check this one out. There is absolutely no shortage of Boobs and Blood here.

Interesting little film , Ive heard of Devanny Pinn but never saw her act, wow this chick is good, and on the road to Scream queen, Slagle and the rest all great actors, Song of the shattered tells the story of a Mishap run-in basically Slagle and his girlfriend pick up a strange bloody wandering girl (pinn) on the highway who just escaped a very abusive relationship and has killed her man, Later shit happens and Slagle and Pinn wind up together (in the sack) after Slagles woman croaks. Pinn slowly cracks into a pretty crazy ass bitch who must inflict the same pain she went through on her abusers sister? loved the movie

Shellter is a unique little film about a young woman who wakes up in a shellter basically. The world above has been over run by zombies and below ground in this shellter is supposedly the only place one can survive. In the shellter there is a demented doctor who hires this woman to be his assistant and like in day of the dead style the doctor is nuts he even eats people . The food runs out and even the living in the shellter must eat human flesh to survive. as it turns out the woman escapes only to find there was no zombie apocalypse, turns out she was kidnapped by a crazy group of people trying to prepare people for the end of the world very interesting film great gore.

This is the latest film from Horror director Len Kabinski who brought us Swamp zombies, Curse of the wolf and Fist of the vampire to name a few, Bound by blood Wendigo is set for a may release by Brain damage films, and tells the story of an ancient legend the wendigo a flesh eating cannibal, basically this wendigo seems to start off in the present day when a couple is stranded and lost in the snow, the female dies, and the male eats her to stay alive but becomes possessed by the spirit of the Wendigo. it spreads like disease and wipes out a small little town the gore is awesome and Kabinskis directing style is getting a lot better, I recommend this gore fest to all genre fans . Theres also some cool subplots going on in the film with the mob, FBI & cops Bound by blood Wendigo is a relentless gore fest that makes no apologies for itself, Director Len Kabinski has come full circle, After watching this movie I had to eat meat I Loved It.

The reason i posted the synopsis is because this film is exactly that. I loved the way This film was done.

Coming to DVD March 1st. Half Moon Starring Porn queen (size queen) Tori black is actually a very good well written story. Half moon starts off with Tori and her hooker pals getting the drill from their pimp instructions if you will, on what to do if shit gets crazy...then they are off into the night. Tori's character Rose decides to break her pimps rules and take a call not intended for her. Rose arrives at the hotel of this very special client who doesn't really have much interest in sex he really just wants Rose to be there to kill the time before his doctor arrives. There is a lot of great character build up and arcs in this story, it turns out this man has a very special condition & requires unconventional medical treatment. After several long talks Rose grows a liking to this man and when she finally makes love to him its for real. we see her slowly become more human and less whore during the film. Rose stumbles upon what she believes to be a rape kit it in the mans bathroom and decides to turn the tables, but this man is no rapist in fact hes a lot less of a monster then her pimp is who we find out takes care of Rose and also beats her which gives her reason to run away with our mystery man. Find out what happens will Rose leave with her pimp ?or will she learn the dark secret of her clients past and will this secret become Roses future, well watch and find out because i highly recommend this DVD one of the best indie monster flicks I've seen this year.

The Booth brothers examine real case files while exploring Haunted orphanages and asylums & tell the stories of the 600+ unmarked graves from abandond children who's names were erased only to be assigned a number, These children are still with us people afraid to cross over , watch as the Booth brothers capture there shadow images and screams on tape, with real Ghosthunter equipment, there are times you can tell where the filmmakers are actualy freaked out this is no hoax and belive me I know, I personaly was the resident of Camario medical center I know what goes on in those places this is not faked. I reccomend this to anyone who has a true passion for those who have crossed and want to hear their message...

The Husband is a player and to make up for it he bought his wifes childhood property back to spend a week in, during that time strange things happen. While vacationing the wife is confronted by ghosts from her past and a dark secret is revealed, who are the Ghosts and why are they after this Family? Ominous kept me on the edge of my seat and the Ghosts images were awesome and creepy, the only thing wrong with this film is the male leads acting was very shaky, otherwise a good indie ghost flick.

This was a fun little movie filmed in China, Killjoy 3 starts off with a school teacher summonsing up the Demon of Revenge Killjoy the clown but he fails to leave a sacrifice which leaves Killjoy without a victim and stuck in his own world. Later a group while on a vacation at their professors house receive a package in the mail, its a mirror which is a Gateway between worlds, watch as Killjoy takes out the teens one by one as they travel between worlds until the clown is finally confronted with the man who is seeking his revenge on the Demon and not the other way around., I enjoyed this one, its been a long time since I've watched something from full moon, Impressed

A cute little zombie movie that follows a group of college friends who while partying at a bowling alley accidentally eat ice cream cones infected with a toxic chemical leaked by the military to make super soldiers, the kids all become infected zombies and the film follows them on a journey where we see the world thru their eyes, instead of the usual its a unique twist and a nice addition to the genre of zombie/comedy

This is a unique indie film in the fact that its a Horror Sci fi musical, This is no rocky horror, its more like Grease meets Night of the creeps, with our stars Billy who likes Cara Ann and Cara Ann likes Billy and just like in Grease they sing songs about each other, Like the classic "Leave your back door open" Haha catchy innuendo right? oh i did it again, Basically its fun then we get into The mad science teacher and the Alien invasion he brings to the school, which causes kaos at the dance, Bodies explode gore everywhere this one worth checking out, watch and see if Billy saves the day.
